A grape variety,
a territory.
Telling the story of Italy
of wine
The result of resourcefulness and audacity, “Generazione Vigneti” was created to enclose, under its name, all the farms owned by the Piccini family.
Intuition, inspiration, instinct. With these weapons, since 1995, the fourth generation of the historic Tuscan family has invested in the most suitable realities of the Italian wine scene. Year after year, the project has been enriched with vineyards and estates scattered throughout the boot, always respecting the axiom “one grape variety – one territory”, the cornerstone of “Generation Vineyards”. From this deep bond with the land, the family has forged its legacy for the future.
Six territories, a single vision.
The project pursues the ambitious goal of telling the peculiarities and nuances of six corners of the Bel Paese, highlighting the prominent role played by the terroir. The wine itinerary traced by the fifth generation starts from the prosperous valleys of Friuli, home of the Bidoli winery, continues towards the hills of Valiano, in the heart of Chianti Classico, skirts the Tuscan Maremma, where Tenuta Moraia stands, and immerses itself in the kingdom of Brunello, home of Villa al Cortile. Completing the picture are the two volcanic estates of Torre Mora, on the threshold of Etna, and Regio Cantina, at the foot of Vulture, in the lands of Aglianico.
The common thread that connects and animates “Generation Vineyards” is the respect for a production philosophy that exalts the close link between the wines and their place of origin, highlighted by an ecological and sustainable approach; starting with the vineyards, which are managed entirely organically.
Six territories, a single vision.
Journey through the great lands of wine
The mosaic of the estates responds to a very precise vision, the result of the intuition of previous generations.
In 1995, Mario Piccini fell in love with the hills of Valiano and decided that his land was the ideal setting for producing high quality wines. Six years later, his father expanded the project’s Tuscan roots, acquiring Tenuta Moraia, in the Maremma. His nose anticipates agronomic calculations, scrutinizing horizons that only a wine artist can imagine. Finally, the picture of Tuscan estates is completed with an inevitable piece: the lands of Brunello di Villa al Cortile.
In 2013, the Piccini family moved its horizon beyond Tuscany, with the aim of taking on an increasingly national profile. The exceptional testing ground is offered by the volcanic moors of Vulture, in Basilicata, to which another estate that speaks the language of fire is soon added: Torre Mora, on the flanks of Mount Etna. The volcano offers an ideal cradle for viticulture, with a perfect microclimate for the production of fine wines, capable of expressing every fold of the territory.
Finally, in 2026, Generazione Vigneti opens its doors to the lands of Friuli, Bidoli’s homeland.

At the service of the earth
Today, in fact, the helm is in the hands of Ginevra, Benedetta and Michelangelo Piccini, the fifth generation of the famous winemaking dynasty, joined by oenologists Alessandro Barabesi and Pasquale Presutto. The new course reinforces the focus on the territory, bringing with it a fresh and dynamic vision that has the courage to make experimentation its flag.
